Size Conversion Chart Why do companies have these and why do they vary? If you weren’t aware of it already, there is a discrepancy in the conversion of international sizes between shops in the UK. This can lead to confusion and occasionally an incorrect purchase. Although shoe sizes are represented as a simple number scale, they are in fact based on a series of accurate measurements. The measurements from one country to another do not match up exactly, and it is this which leads to variation from store to store when converting. Moreover, sometimes when a shoe is fit tested it can vary from the size printed and may need to be sold 1/2 a size up or down. So how can I select the right size for me? As a highly regarded and successful specialist footwear company, we make a point of making sure our shoes fit. All the shoes in our catalogue and on our website are represented in UK sizes and fittings. We recommend all new customers complete our Accu-Fit foot measure before ordering to ensure they select the correct size. However, if you feel confident of your size and fitting or you are ordering from outside the UK and you’re unsure of the conversion we use then you can check it on the table below. ![]()
