| How do you size up? |
Do you really know what shoe fitting you are, or do you just have an approximate idea of what will roughly fit your feet? How many times have you really needed a 1/2 size in a shoe but have had to settle for either a 1/2 size smaller or larger?
Women spend much time trying to fit their children correctly, but often neglect their own feet. While children’s feet are always growing, you too can suffer from a number of foot problems by wearing poor fitting footwear. Women mention foot problems 4 times more than men, which is mostly due to poor fitting footwear or “excessively high heels”.

| Finding the Perfect Fit |
> You should try and avoid buying shoes that feel too tight when trying them on. Although leather shoes will give with wear, this is only a small amount.
> Did you know the majority of people have one foot larger than the other? You should always fit new shoes to your largest foot.
> Wear the appropriate hosiery when trying on new shoes. If trying on boots, wear thick socks. Likewise if you are trying on work shoes where appropriate tights.
> Remember to try both shoes on and walk around in them for a few minutes to make sure you really do have the correct fit.
